Heee heee heeee...ah crap bud, you're hooked bad aren't you?? That's exactly what happened to me a few years back. Started with the TPBs and ended
up with every Spawn offshoot there was. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
Even did all the Crow and Psycho Circus stuff.
I had such a great shop in Phoenix for that as they would get in whole batches of brand new
overstock stuff and sell them at 99 cents each.
Completed my Psycho Circus, Spawn the Undead,
Cy-Gor, and got caught up on STDA ( it was still a monthly book) that way.

The extra cool thing is Darth Pooh - the wife has got hooked on them as well!

Make it easier to justify the cost that way..

Ahh Damn it, Megalith..I just can't get my wife hooked yet. She doesn't say much though as she is an AVID reader. The only thing I get jealous of is that she can go to a used book store, and pick up copies of whatever she wants for cheap. Not a lot of those stores carry TPBs. As bad as I am now, I could EASILY go into Borders or Ralph's comics and buy up $600.00 worth of Daredevil, X-Men, Hellboy, etc.. TPBs if I had the money to do it. That's not counting the rather large group I've accumulated already. They are bringing out so much good stuff on TPB now it makes me want to weep. [img]graemlins/cry_smile.gif[/img]

The major expensive I have right now are the updated Marvel Universe books (hardback). Those are running $40-50 each. I have 3 out of the four to still get.


At least with me, it is only Spawn and the Spawn related ones. I have the first 4 issues of Woverine back in the late 80s.early 90s.

The only other TPBs that have interested me are the Wolverine ones. I like him, but I think if posed with a choice, it would be Spawn. [img]wink.gif[/img]
